Celebrate the performance culture of Karangahape Road with this stunning BOUFFONT tote. Created during and after my artist residency at Studio One Toi Tū, BOUFFONT is a typeface/artwork in response to drag and burlesque performance culture on Karangahape Road. During the research process of developing this artwork, concepts and aesthetics of drag and burlesque were explored with local performers.
