This publication documents my research process that backgrounds the development of the BOUFFONT typeface. The Werkbook consists of a series of interviews undertaken with local drag and burlesque performers about their performance practice, Karangahape Road as a site for performance and culture, and typography in relation to performance on Karangahape Road.
